    Limelite High Impact Finishing plaster is a hard, durable and breathable finishing plaster designed for use with Limelite Renovating Plaster as well as traditional sand and cement mixes. It can be used to provide a hard-wearing finish for demanding applications such as social housing, commercial buildings, schools and even hospitals.

    Breathable finishing plaster for renovation


    As a breathable lime based plaster, Limelite High Impact Finishing plaster allows moisture to be released and will not retain moisture like a gypsum plaster, helping to prevent damp and mould growth in older buildings. Limelite High Impact Finishing Plaster is part of the BBA accredited Limelite breathable plaster system.

    Tough, hard wearing lime finishing plaster


    Designed for improved impact resistance compared to traditional lime plasters and deliver a durable long lasting finish. It is fibre reinforced for added durability and crack resistance. This makes it ideal for busy domestic or commercial environments.


    Lime plaster for repair of damp or flooded properties


    Can be applied to damp walls, making it a fast, effective solution for repair of flood damaged buildings. As it is breathable, it allows any moisture still present in the substrate to be released. It also helps to mitigate future flood damage by helping surfaces to dry out faster.

    Renovating plaster system with improved thermal performance


    Limelite High Impact Finishing Plaster can be used with Limelite Renovating Plaster which contains perlite to improve insulation. This, combined with the ability to remove trapped moisture significantly improves thermal performance.


    Responsibly sourced renovating plaster


    All of our products are manufactured in the UK and certified under BES 6001 Responsible sourcing. Tarmac was the first company within the cement and lime sectors to be awarded the BES6001 ‘Excellent’ rating across its entire product range.

    Fire Resistance


    Limelite Renovating Plaster is a non-combustible product (as defined in BS 476: Part 4), and can be designated Class O in accordance with the requirements of the National Building Regulations for use as a surface finishing material.

    Salt Resistance


    Limelite Renovating Plaster contains salt inhibitors to prevent efflorescence and salt transfer. In areas of heavy contamination,heavy contamination, such as chimney breasts, Limelite Easy-Bond slurry primer should be used prior to the application of Limelite Renovating plaster.

    BBA accredited system for specification by architects, designers or main contractors


    Limelite Renovating Plaster can be used with with Limelite Renovating Plaster as part of the BBA accredited Limelite Breathable Plaster System, giving architects and specifiers reassurance and control of the quality of the final finish.
